The Upper Missouri River Watershed Alliance recently released the baseline macroinvertebrate monitoring report for the Missouri River.

This is a comprehensive study of the bug life on the Missouri River and will be the baseline by which we measure things going forward. It’s a lot of information but is definitely worth spending some time on for those interested in macroinvertebrate populations, and who isn’t?
I’ve heard a lot about the way things used to be from many of our regular guests but I also know we tend to glorify the past. Now we know where things are at and we can say with certainty going forward how things measure up against 2015.
